Jesse Kallman is President of Airbus Aerial, the new commercial drone service for Airbus, headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia. He was named to his position with the announcement of Airbus Aerial on May 10, 2017.
Kallman is an industry expert with more than 12 years of experience in the Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) realm. He has spent his career in various parts of the industry including research at Georgia Tech, federal policy at the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), commercial UAS business at Airware, and advocacy with groups such as the Association for Unmanned Vehicle Systems International.
Kallman has served as a trusted adviser to executives at Fortune 500 companies, members of Congress, senior officials at the FAA and White House, and leading Silicon Valley venture capital groups.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering and a master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering – Systems Design and Optimization, both from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
